inPlace Recruitment is a privately owned Australian recruitment agency. Our founder & Managing Director,  Sandra Chiles  established her company in 1981 as the first specialist travel and tourism recruitment agency in Australia. Over decades on and we are proudly still providing professional recruitment services to the travel and tourism industry as well as the hospitality industry and event sector. 

As specialists in the travel, tourism, events and hospitality industries - we recruit for a broad spectrum of travel jobs, within these sectors ranging from entry level to executive and include permanent, temporary and contract positions. We can assist you with jobs in travel, tourism and hospitality throughout Australia and internationally.

As a team of former industry employees - we understand the particular demands of working in travel, tourism, events and hospitality. We know the jobs that are out there and we have a large network of contacts from within these industries.

Our team all hold certification with the Recruitment and Consulting Services Association of Australia & New Zealand (RCSA) with Sandra awarded fellowship status.

Our History

We were originally known as Travel People! In May 2006 Sandra aquired Travel Personnel, merging their 12 years of travel and tourism recruitment expertise with Travel People.  In September of 2006 we rebranded to become inPlace Recruitment.
